Choir - Christmas Tree Festival

Our Key Stage 2 Christmas choir annually perform at Holy Trinity Christmas tree festival in Seaton Carew, joining other groups in the community and supporting a local event. We also have a tree on display during this event too.

Choir - Rossmere Care Home and Local Community Shops

The Key Stage 2 Christmas choir also go into the community to spread some cheer singing to local residents at Rossmere care home and outside of Tesco at Fen's shops.

Choir - 'Snappy' Termly Singing Events

The Key Stage 2 Christmas choir, Key Stage 1 Spring choir and Key Stage 2 Summer choir join Tees Valley Music Hub at their 'SNAPPY' events. The children learn songs and perform to audiences alongside other schools from around the Tees Valley area.

Rocksteady Music

Rocksteady joins us in school each week, teaching children to play instruments in a band. The children learn notes, chords, rhythms, vocals and most importantly to work as a team to stay in time. Each term the bands perform to the whole school and parents of the children in the band watch their children perform. What a fantastic afternoon of entertainment!

Art Award Explore

Year 5 children each year are given the opportunity to take part in our Arts Award Explore delivery. Children work on tasks for 10 weeks, exploring different art forms, researching artists and arts organisations, creating their own piece of artwork and finally presenting their work to the whole school. The children receive an accredited award from Trinity College London, which they can use towards future university places.
