Well done to our ‘Merit Winners’ for this week. Certificates and prizes are well deserved and examples include: showing excellent effort during Assessment Week, showing determination during every swimming lesson, making fantastic progress with arithmetic scores, brilliant sentence writing using capital letters and full stops and excellent attitude and amazing confidence when tackling new activities!

Y5 have now finished their swimming sessions this half-term and it was lovely for the staff and children to receive a thank you card from the bus driver! This was sent to acknowledge the pupils for being well mannered and polite, whilst they have been driven to and from Billingham Forum. We have rung the company and passed on our own for this wonderful gesture! Well done to the children (and staff) for being wonder ambassadors for the school.

Our EYFS and KS1 children have made and sent off Christmas cards this year as part of the HBC Christmas card scheme, delivering cards to the elderly. It is lovely for the children to know that they are spreading the Christmas spirit!
