At present, following a significant drop in rates, Covid numbers are once again rising locally, and are still classed as very high. However, and unless advised otherwise, we will be holding our Christmas discos! Please note the following in that we will be having them during the day on Tuesday, November 30th. There will be no charge for this. We will have Reception at 9.30-10.15, Y5&6 10.30-11.15, Y1&2 1.30-2.15 and Y3&4 2.25-3.10. Nursery will hold their own Disco in the Bousfield Learning Suite on the same day. Each child will be provided with a snack pack (including Nursery on their day) and they will be allowed to come to school in their disco clothes. They will need sensible footwear, but can bring some others to change into should you wish. Children will not need any money. We will only use the KS2 hall, and the snack packs will be in their classrooms, when children return, following their respective discos. Parents/carers have the option for their child to opt out of the disco should they wish. These children will be given alternative provision (with a snack pack!).

Well done to our ‘Merit Winners’ for this week. Certificates and prizes are well deserved and examples include: an excellent piece of writing about anti-bullying, making sensible choices, displaying confidence, having amazing manners, giving 100% effort during swimming and an amazing prediction and summary in reciprocal reading.

We have not had many children in school today; however, the school has been full of bears! Many thanks for your very kind and generous donations everybody! Your contributions will be gratfully received and will make a huge difference to those in need. Thank you!
