At Fens Primary School, we place high value on cultivating strong and positive relationships between school and home; these realtionships are the foundation for each of our children to develop academically, socially, emotionally and healthily.

As parents and carers, you are your child's numer-one role model and we would like to say thank you for your ongoing support in working together to cultivate one community where all of our children thrive. Research has shown that that effective parental engagement can lead to learning gains of over three months over the course of just one year (Education Endowment Foundation).

As part of our committment to continuous improvement, our aim is to ensure that communication between home and school is as clear, positive and effective as possible. As a school we plan and implement a range of activities where parents and carers are invited into school to share in their child's learning journey through Fens Primary. In the Autumn term we carried out a number of Curriculum Open Evenings to share in some of the routines and planned learning for child's current academic year.
